In April, 2025, FieldHaven Feline Center partnered with Over The Top Events & Parties (OTTEP) to host their first in-person fundraiser post-pandemic, celebrating 20 years of impact while introducing their new Executive Director. With concerns about reduced ticket sales compared to previous years, the focus shifted from quantity to quality guest experience and high-value programming. Despite fewer ticket sales, the fundraiser exceeded all expectations—raising $150,000, surpassing the original goal by $50,000 (a 50% increase).The event was also a milestone moment in FieldHaven’s history as Joy Smith, founder and visionary behind the organization, formally passed the leadership torch to Makenna Johnston, who now leads as Executive Director.
