Event Overview

On Saturday, May 16, SacSewer’s Bufferlands will come alive for Walk On The Wildside, a free community celebration of International Migratory Bird Day. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., visitors can wander miles of trails through restored wetlands and oak forests, watch live wildlife presentations, listen to folk music, enjoy children’s puppet shows, and learn about local conservation efforts. With food vendors on site and plenty of family‑friendly activities, it’s a unique chance to explore a protected nature preserve normally closed to the public.
