River City High School Tree Planting

In partnership with Tree Davis, the Texas Tree Foundation, and OTTEP, River City High School hosted a vibrant tree planting event with over 100 student and parent volunteers. OTTEP led event planning, site layout, registration, vendor sourcing, and day-of coordination—including fun games for teens and the opportunity to earn community service hours.

The beverage station, recommended by OTTEP, quickly became a crowd favorite and is now what volunteers most look forward to. After planting, everyone enjoyed Locos Tacos, music, and interactive games that brought the community together.
