Planning Corporate Events That Drive Culture, Not Just Calendars
Planning high-impact, multi-day corporate events isn’t just about managing logistics — it’s about bringing a brand’s culture to life. At Over The Top Events & Parties, we believe in creating immersive experiences that go beyond timelines and checklists. We design moments that spark energy, reinforce company values, and leave lasting impressions.
This approach came to life earlier this year when we partnered with Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers to plan and execute a 2-day Regional Team Event at District 56 in Elk Grove, California.
The Challenge: Tight Timeline, High Expectations
With a planning window of just a few weeks and a budget exceeding $100,000, this event demanded sharp attention to detail, cross-functional coordination, and high-level execution. The guest list included 300+ attendees, from frontline staff to regional managers and executives — a true cross-section of the Raising Cane’s culture.
The stakes were high. The timeline was tight. And the opportunity to deliver a transformational experience was clear.
What We Delivered: End-to-End Corporate Event Planning
We worked closely with Zachry Luker and Amanda, VP of Events at Raising Cane’s, to turn their goals into a structured, dynamic event. Our team led:
✅ Strategic Pre-Planning & Run-of-Show Management
We developed a comprehensive planning timeline and event run sheet, integrating brand moments with logistical flow to maximize impact.

✅ Creative Concept Design
We didn’t just design an event — we curated an experience. Our creative planning included a fully developed visual mood board that aligned with Raising Cane’s bold, people-first culture and internal branding guidelines.
We also delivered a custom floorplan layout tailored to the flow of the multi-day event, including:
📝 Welcome + Check-In Zones – A smooth first impression sets the tone.
🎤 General Session Space – Designed for optimal A/V coverage and engagement.
🕹️ Rotating Breakout & Game Areas – Interactive zones to energize and connect teams.
🍽️ Catered Dining Spaces – Comfortable, efficient areas for meals and mingling.
🍹 Branded Social Hour Lounge – A relaxed, Cane’s-branded space for networking and unwinding.
🧩 These visual planning tools — including mood boards and layout drafts — were crucial in helping the client visualize the experience early and align internal stakeholders, especially with such a tight timeline.
✅ Vendor Sourcing & Contract Coordination
With a multi-vendor environment, we managed every layer of procurement and execution, including:
🍽️ Catering Services – Curated menus that matched the energy of each day.
🎧 Audio/Visual Production – High-quality sound, lighting, and staging for seamless presentations.
📸 Professional Photography & Videography – Capturing the moments that mattered most.
🕹️ Interactive Games & Inflatables – Team-building fun designed to engage and energize.
👥 Staffing, Support Teams & Logistics – From check-in to cleanup, we ensured every detail was covered.
✅ Interactive Engagement Zones
To build team connection and fun, we designed breakout zones filled with large-scale games, team-building activities, and opportunities for playful engagement.
✅ Branded Social Hour
Our curated evening social hour featured local catering, Cane’s-branded elements, and a relaxed space for team members to bond after a day of energizing programming.
Why It Worked: Culture Meets Execution
This event was more than a gathering — it was a culture moment. Every detail was intentionally designed to reflect Raising Cane’s values: high energy, collaboration, and recognition.
Our ability to move quickly, stay aligned with leadership, and execute under pressure is what makes us a trusted partner for corporate clients and national brands.
